Westside Story – Manchester, Palace Theatre

Today was the first band call for our upcoming performances of Westside Story, in Manchester’s famous Palace Theatre. Manchester’s Stage Experience are putting on the production after their success with Footloose last year. So far ticket sales are huge with all nights selling more than 1000 seats in the large theatre. The cast have been putting in many hours of rehearsal and are all excited to sing and perform with the full band tomorrow morning for the first time. The performances start on Thursday 13th of August and run until Saturday the 15th of August. For tickets and more information please go to ATG’s Website by clicking here.

The band comprises professional musicians from all around Manchester and further afield and while it is small, it is certainly mighty! Mambo gives the trumpets a good chance to show what they’re made of and I will be playing solo violin in the pit alongside 13 of my fellow musicians.

Please do come and join us for what is set to be a cracking show and a display of the true talent of these young adults.
